Judge Samuel Zoll, chair of the Joint Labor-Management Committee, will be the featured speaker for the Massachusetts Municipal Personnel Association’s June 17 program meeting in Lawrence.

Zoll will discuss the state of JLMC and collective bargaining between public safety unions and municipalities.

A second session with JLMC staff will address steps management can take to achieve the best outcome at the JLMC.

A session after lunch will cover communicating Medicare Part D changes to retirees. Cindy Phillips, regional SHINE program director from Minuteman Senior Services, will outline steps that managers and human resources directors should take to prepare retirees for the Part D changes.

The MMPA meeting will be held at the Bashara Boathouse. The registration fee is $25 for members, $40 for nonmembers. Meeting details were mailed to all MMPA members in May.
