The Beacon is Massachusetts Municipal Association’s monthly publication, The Beacon, contains news of developments on the state and federal levels of government that affect cities and towns, and reports on MMA and MMA-affiliate associations news and events.

The Beacon, publishes a monthly calendar of events and has a comprehensive classified advertising section of current job opportunities in local government and consulting and legal services for cities and towns. The Beacon is published 11 times a year, with a combined July-August issue. The subscription rate is $18 per year for members, $36 per year for nonmembers.
