Become a member

To become a MIIA member:

MIIA members must be Massachusetts public entities that qualify for protection under the provisions of MA General Law, Ch 258. If you are a city or town, you must also be a member of the Massachusetts Municipal Association.

Prior to membership, applicants must submit an application including claims history. An applicant must also agree to a loss control survey performed by a qualified MIIA loss control representative. Membership is subject to the information provided on the application, claims history and results of the loss control survey
