MIIA is contracted with Advanced Law Enforcement Readiness Training (ALERT) and obtained a series of Police Officer training videos. We have available a minimum of 15 different videos available for free use by MIIA member Police Departments. Typical training topics include:

• OC: Fighting Through Pepper Spray
• Officer Safety with Survival
• Field Interviewing
• Gang Recognition
• Power Handcuffing
• Serving of Search Warrants
• Edged Weapon Defense
• Officer Stress Management

The above topics are only a sample of programs. ALERT is adding programs on a regular schedule.

We now have the following programs available for immediate use:

• Traffic Stops- High Risks
• Accident Scene Management
• Pursuit and Defensive Driving
• Crime Scene Preservation

These programs come with training guides, test questions and answers. Requests will be honored in the order received. We hope these materials will be a valuable addition to your training program.
