A 13-day self-directed program designed to help busy people learn how to save time, money and prepare healthier meals. Open to all employees. Program starts on April 18, 2017.
Recognizing the impact of food on our overall health is the first step to eating well, but the realities of our busy lives makes this difficult. Family meals are replaced with working parents picking up children at day care, evening meetings, caring for elderly family members, and more. It is easy to fall into the habit of eating delivery pizza and drive through fast food. But a little planning and preparation can go a long way in providing nutritious, tasty foods for our families and us.
You'll learn tips to shop smarter, try easy 15 minute recipes, how to stock your pantry, learn to love leftovers and more. Click to find out more about this program and how to earn cool prizes while you spend less time in the kitchen, but prepare healthier meals.
Most cooked leftovers will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days and in the freezer for 4-5 months.
