• You must be present, visible, and participating, focused on the class for a minimum of 10.0 hours, not including breaks or meals. The instructor is required to sign a sworn affidavit regarding your attendance, so attendance may be taken randomly during the course.

This OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course is a two-day, 10-hour LIVE video conferencing training program.

Specifically geared toward, the course provides “awareness level” training and is intended to increase awareness of certain factors that contribute to safety risks and injuries among industry personnel. A focus on general industry safety and health hazards a worker may encounter on a worksite are also discussed, as is an emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. Additionally, the course provides information on employee rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

Participation in both days of this training qualifies the MIIA member for 1% Rewards Credit  under the Workers Compensation Category or  General Liability (if no Worker's Compensation coverage)
