Scientists have known of the health benefits of spending time in nature for years, but a recent study by Nature Scientific Reports tells us how much is optimal! You may be surprised to hear it’s not that much- at least 120 minutes per week. This is the optimal amount of time shown to up your happiness factor and make you healthier. The best part is the two-hour period doesn’t have to take place all at once -- you can accumulate the time throughout the week.
