With a healthier mental state, we’re better equipped to process and understand information and experiences. At MIIA we strive to help our members strengthen their mental and emotional health and encourage them to utilize the variety of mental and emotional wellbeing support services that are offered.

AllOne Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

AllOne Health EAP is a free confidential 24/7 counseling and referral service. Common work/family issues supported include couples counseling, parent/child issues, elder care, financial or legal concerns, and more. The EAP also supports managers with issues such as conflicts between co-workers, difficulties in supervision/management, dealing with difficult employees, building stronger teams, and improving communication. Learn to Live 

Learn to Live provides free and confidential online programs for individuals and their family members (ages 13 or older) who are experiencing stress, anxiety & worry, depression, social anxiety, substance use, and insomnia. Programs include anonymous assessments, learning modules, connections with coaches, and more. Visit Learn to Live and enter the code: MIIA. Free to all employees regardless of health plan status.

MindWise

Free and anonymous clinically validated self-assessment tools for anxiety, depression, eating disorders, gambling addiction, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, and more. These tools will help you recognize and understand mental health conditions affecting you or a family member's health and well-being. The screenings allow you to find out whether or not a professional consultation would be helpful to you. No specific information about individuals is collected. Visit the website here.

Headspace

Mindfulness has been shown to help people stress less, increase focus, and sleep more soundly. Headspace offers hundreds of meditations and exercises for sleep, focus, and movement. MIIA Blue Cross Blue Shield subscribers receive free access to the premium Headspace library. Click here to learn more.

Brightline

Brightline provides a comprehensive behavioral health solution to support youth (18 months to 18 years of age) and their families through video visits with mental health professionals. Brightline also offers a digital platform with resources for common challenges from, back-to-school transitions to conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more. Free to MIIA/Blue Cross Bue Shield subscribers.
