Electrical Hazard Awareness Training for Fire Police & Municipal Workers

Due to the potential of electrical contact with overhead and underground energized power lines and equipment resulting in serious injury and fatalities, arborists in the urban environment need to be well informed about the dangers of working in this environment. In this training, participants will learn how to avoid deadly encounters and decrease lost production time, downed or damaged equipment, and lawsuits and fines.

This course meets the requirements of OSHA 1910.331, 1910.269, ANSI

Z133 and is in compliance with ANSI Z490- Accepted Practices in Safety,

Health and Environmental Training.

OSHA / ANSI / Standards and Regulations

First Aid and CPR (review)

Electrical Theory

Grounding

Electrical Accidents

Dielectric Tools and Equipment

Voltage Identification

Attendance at this seminar qualifies the MIIA member for .5% credit under the FY 22 MIIA Rewards
