Stress is naturally a part of our everyday lives, serving as either a motivator or as an inhibitor. As adults, we are typically better at identifying stress signals and symptoms, as well as ways to cope effectively. Younger individuals may not readily recognize stress signs--providing an excellent opportunity for parents and adults to give valuable support and coping guidance. By increasing parents' and adults' ability to listen to and watch for these opportunities to engage in conversation with children of all ages, parents and adults can enhance their ability to handle or respond well to current life challenges.
