Wanting to feel included is a basic human desire. This desire is with us from birth and carries through to the first day at kindergarten, to the first day of a new job, and appears in many other areas. With over forty percent of workers reporting feelings of isolation, what sort of climate promotes inclusion? What does inclusion look like in a dispersed, remote workforce? In this presentation, we will define “inclusiveness” as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We will discuss challenges to foster inclusive climates within a remote workforce, and we will provide actionable tools to begin connecting with and leading your team.
