Health Literacy

Wiser employees. Healthier decisions.

Health literacy is the degree to which individuals have the capacity to obtain, process, and understand basic health information needed to make appropriate health decisions. Our aim is to help improve our members’ health literacy so they are better able to navigate the healthcare system. We want to promote open conversations between our members and their providers and help members avoid unnecessary and potentially harmful medical care.
