A 8-week program to help mid-life women deal with weight control and stress. Learn how to beat the mid-life bulge, reduce stress and increase over all well-being.

Mid-Life Health: Why Am I So Tired and Why Can’t I Lose Weight?

Women at mid-life are confronted with many challenging issues such as weight gain, fatigue, financial stress, caring for aging parents and young adult children. Our new program, with eight 75-minute sessions, is specifically designed to meet those demands. Work toward defeating middle age weight gain, learn quick and easy ways to manage stress, discover foods to increase energy, share ideas to better balance work and home life. Program also includes a Walking Challenge with Fitbits to get you moving (must attend 6 out of the 8 sessions to participate and you can keep your Fitbit). Prize awarded to the woman with the most steps. The program leaders are a registered dietitian and a stress reduction specialist.

Wellness Tip: Stress and elevated cortisol tend to cause fat deposition in the abdominal area. Research shows relaxation techniques can help decrease cortisol levels resulting in weight loss and less belly fat.
