What is the Workplace Safety Grant?
On 8 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2023, through Monday, October 23, 2023, midnight Massachusetts-based and operating employers may request up to $25,000 to administer workplace safety training. Please note the Workplace Safety Grant is a reimbursement program, and grant recipients will be reimbursed as agreed upon in approved contract documents.
The Workplace Safety Grant is issued under the provisions M. G. L. c 23E § 3 and is administered by the Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA), Office of Safety. The grant program provides Massachusettsbased employers in good standing with funding for employee training to prevent or redress a history of workplace injuries.
