Heart Matters 2.0

Our nutrition classes, cooking recipes, diet tips, heart friendly exercises and stress reduction techniques will put you on the path to:

  • Lower weight, cholesterol and blood pressure
  • Increased energy
  • More restful sleep
  • Better heart health

Our program runs 11 weeks with 90-minute sessions. As always, the private weigh-in, blood pressure and body mass index tests and all information is confidential. It is recommended to bring the following lab test results from the last six months to the first session: cholesterol, LDL, HDL, blood glucose and triglycerides. You will learn about “Walk Across America,” our pedometer program, during the first session.

We’ll also introduce wellness telephone coaching. This voluntary program connects you with trained wellness coaches to help you identify your goals and provide ongoing support.

The program instructor is a registered dietitian.

Wellness Tip: According to the American Health Association, heart disease is the #1 killer in the U.S. Even a few lifestyle and diet changes can improve your heart health over time.
