Couch to 5K

Ever think about running a 5K but never been a jogger? Want to do something good for yourself and the community? Here’s your chance to ease into a more active lifestyle and participate in a local 5K road race. Either walking or running, the program’s painless routine is easy to follow and group participation is a great motivational tool. The flexible, weekly workouts can be adjusted to your schedule. All levels of experience are welcome. The program instructor is a certified exercise specialist.

Wellness Tip: As with any exercise program, remember to start off slowly, stretch before and after your workout and keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Also, be sure to reward yourself along the way!
