Learn how to increase productivity, prevent injuries and enhance the comfort of your workspace.

Office Workstation Ergonomics Workshop

Participants register for a 15 minute, personalized session to discover easy-to-implement improvements to make their workspace more comfortable and productive. They will also learn how to prevent injuries and conditions such as Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. How to make minor ergonomic adjustments to help alleviate neck, shoulder, arm and hand aches related to working on a  computer. We’ll also review:  

  • Principles of correct body posture  
  • How to set up a computer workstation to minimize strain on the body
  • Ways to avoid undue strain on the body while working
  • Simple stretching exercises to enhance comfort and safety during the workday

The program leader is a certified exercise specialist.
