Heart Matters 3.0 steps up a level from Heart Matters 2.0. Our program covers 11 weeks with 75-minute sessions. In addition to heart-friendly nutrition tips, exercises and stress reduction techniques, we added new content to help you get on a faster path to heart health.
Our new programming covers how to integrate a Mediterranean diet and lifestyle into your household to help increase longevity and lower heart disease risk. You’ll also see how the DASH diet can reduce blood pressure and an anti-inflammatory diet can lower cancer and heart disease risk. And much more.
As always, the private weigh-in, blood pressure and body mass index tests and all information is confidential. You will learn about “Walk Across Europe,” our pedometer program, during the first session. We’ll also introduce wellness telephone coaching. This voluntary program connects you with trained wellness coaches to help identify your goals and provide ongoing support. The program instructor is a registered dietitian.
