HIIT, or high intensity interval training, is taking the exercise world by storm! At any fitness any fitness level you can benefit from incorporating HIIT into your workouts, whether it be walking, biking, swimming, rowing, using the elliptical, and more! HIIT is an exercise strategy alternating short periods of more-intense exercise with less-intense exercise and/or recovery periods. Intensity can simply be measured by perceiving your level of exertion on a scale from 1-10.
We challenge you to integrate HIIT techniques into your chosen form of exercise for a 15-minute workout, 2-3 days a week.
